Comments on High School Meningitis Presentations

Thank you for your interest in the Werner's story. If you have not heard another child died on April 10th of meningitis in Southeastern Wisconsin. Bob and Dee Dee Werner are on mission to bring awareness to our students. They offer a wonderful presentation FREE to your school. Please help bring awareness to our students to avoid a loss of another.

We had Bob at Kettle Moraine this morning - students left teary eyed, and ready to go home and ask for the vaccination. This is a powerful way to inform students about this deadly virus. I would highly recommend this assembly to any high school,

We just had Bob present here at Kettle Moraine this morning. His story is one that all high school kids should hear. He gives a heartfelt presentation, that all the students thought was extremely beneficial. If your thinking about having him present to your students, you will be happy that you did so!

Recently I saw your brief presentation on meningitis at the DECA State Career Development Conference and really thought the message you are sending is important for kids to hear.

I heard your wonderful and moving presentation at the School Nurse Conference last year. I would love to have you present to our high schoolers. How long is your usual high school presentation?
Thanks (and thanks for everything that you do to increase education on this topic),

Wanted to thank you for your moving presentation at Waukesha West. I was so glad you were able to fit us into your schedule. As a result-I had my daughter vaccinated earlier than planned. Every time one of my students gets the shot they come and tell me! Thanks again, and hope to see you in the future.

I am a biology teacher at Appleton East High School where you shared your story last week. I just want to thank you for coming up to talk to our students. It’s not often that we have a large group of kids listening so attentively at an assembly. The fact that your presentation was well-focused and was obviously delivered from the heart is what made the difference. I think that you have made an impact – in fact, my son (a sophomore at Neenah High School) will be getting the vaccination at his next physical.

I admire the stamina you demonstrated as you told your story every hour. I hope you draw strength from knowing that you are reaching people.

Thanks again.
