I am 16 years old and my name is Sharon Zabel. You came to my school the other day and I would really like to tell you how much the story of Becky touched me. I am extremely sorry for your loss, it must have been a big one. I also want to tell you thank you for coming to Webster to talk to the students about Meningitis, so many people don't even know what it is, and so many people need to hear about it. Thank you so much

I am 23 years old and a design student in Chicago. I came across Becky's video on voicesofmeningitis.org while researching Meningitis for a school project. I just wanted to reach out to Becky's family and say how deeply touched I am to hear Becky's story, and how sad I am that her life was cut so short. I've been very sick with bacterial pneumonia and I know how much your life can change from a bacterial infection. I now have Becky's story in my heart always reminding me that my life and my health is a gift. Thank you for sharing Becky's story with me, I hope you can find peace. Take care.

I am not in the office tomorrow, but I wanted to drop you a little note to say I will be thinking of you. You are both such an inspiration in the fight against meningitis, totally selfless in sharing your story and giving all your time, and I have no doubt that Becky would be immensely proud.
